Wilder About You: Tiffany and Jason’s Wedding | Falls Church, VA x Chesapeake Bay, MD

Fun fact about this couple: BOLD Creatives was present when Tiffany & Jason first met at a mutual friend’s wedding! The sparks were instant and before the reception ended, Jason switched tables to be closer to his future forever. No seating chart can stop fate!

Jason popped the question days before Valentine’s Day 2017 and the couple set the date for 9 months later – November 11th. Having less than one year to plan such a significant day may rattle some, but Tiffany is a woman with a vision! By Spring, her Pinterest board was filled with gold geometric shapes, & beautiful teal chiffon looks, the ceremony & reception venues were booked, and (cup)cake tastings were underway.

Looming winter weather is always a concern for November brides and their families, but thankfully we had clear skies & a brisk breeze to move us through the day.

200 guests were invited to the 9 AM ceremony – family, friends, coworkers, and fellow church members gathered at Crossroads Baptist Church in Falls Church, VA to witness Tiffany & Jason’s vows. Coffee and morning pastries were served immediately following the ceremony. Guests had the opportunity to mingle for a bit, then send the bride and groom off to the reception on Maryland’s Eastern Shore.

The Wilders had about an hour drive from the church to the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club, but they did it in style! Bentley style.

Cocktail hour featured waterfront views in the Bayside Tavern at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club. The crowd favorite on the menu: Chef’s crab cake station! Enjoying local seafood with a mimosa in hand and the Bay Bridge as a background is the quintessential Maryland vibe – only the best for our couple!

The ballroom featured floor to ceiling bay windows also overlooking the Chesapeake Bay, served as a wonderful foundation for the teal runners, velvet blush linen, and the adorable fuchsia dahlias in the centerpieces. CBBC created an awesome brunch menu, DJ Omar played all the jams, and everyone danced like no one was watching! We were so in love with the day!

Tiffany & Jason closed out the day’s festivities with a sunset photoshoot on a neighboring pier. Of course, the temperature rapidly dropped as the sun continued to fade, but they were on a beautiful beach in Jamaica the very next day! We are so grateful to the Wilders for trusting us with the planning, design & execution of their special day!
